Honest conversations about therapy, the mind, and finding your way when life does not go to plan.
Welcome to the Between Paths podcast. I talk honestly about meditation, self-esteem, people-pleasing, boundaries, self-awareness, and the different ways we try to understand ourselves and find our way when life feels difficult, confusing or stuck.

What the podcast is about
The podcast covers trust, boundaries, bad therapy, self-awareness, journalling, meditation, archetypes, personality quizzes, reflection prompts, and the different ways people try to make sense of their lives. It is not about perfect wellbeing or becoming more productive. It is about the uncertainty, contradictions and grey areas most of us actually live with.
If you have ever felt as though you were on the outside looking in, or you want to hear mental health discussed without a wall of jargon, you are welcome here. The podcast is for people trying to understand themselves, trust their own judgement and find somewhere to begin.
Between Paths is for people who need somewhere to begin, especially when the usual routes do not feel available, safe, affordable, or right for them.
Why this, why now?
Like a lot of people, I lost my therapy practice during the pandemic. Starting over was not easy. I found myself outside the therapy world, running into barriers around qualifications that were treated as outdated and the cost of retraining. Somewhere in all that, I started questioning some of the systems behind modern therapy, especially where they can seem more concerned with control than care.
Not all therapy organisations are like that, of course. It is complex. But there is a tension I cannot ignore, and pretending it is not there does not help anyone.
Then, almost by accident, I ended up working in call handling. It was not a role I had expected, but I grew to respect the work. I learned a lot about people, pressure, and how we speak to each other in the moments when we most need to be heard. That, alongside my years in therapy, is where this podcast came from.
