This page shares some of the songs I have written, or helped shape, through reflection, lived experience, therapy work, and the many human stories I have heard and witnessed over the years.
They are not case studies.
They are not anyone’s private story put into music.
They are songs shaped by themes that many people may recognise: loss, shame, hope, anger, love, regret, confusion, survival, and the need to be heard.
Some songs began with my own reflections. Some came from things I have noticed in therapy, in life, or in the quiet spaces between what people say and what they are really trying to say. Some were written entirely by me, and others were shaped with help from AI music tools.
That is part of what I am exploring through Between Paths and Songs From Life.
How can I talk about the therapeutic value of writing lyrics if I am not willing to do it myself?
So, here they are.

They are not perfect songs. They are not polished in the way professional music often is. But they are honest.
Each one came from something real. Not always something personal to me, and never a direct telling of someone else’s private experience, but something human. A feeling. A pattern. A memory. A conversation. A silence. A question.
If you listen, I hope something in them speaks to you. Maybe it gives you permission to tell your own story in your own way.
Some of these songs are also available through my Songbay profile. If you want to listen, buy, or support the wider Between Paths project in that way, you can.
There is no pressure.
The site is free to use, and the songs are simply there if you want them.
